Pre-Preparatory Piano

Ages 3-4

• Music fundamentals with a playful introduction to piano.
• Musical terms, rhythm, dynamics, steady beat and ear training.

Pre-Preparatory Piano is our premier preschool piano class! Major musical concepts  reinforce letters, numbers and basic math skills. Your child’s love of music will grow as he/she participates in an exciting environment of learning, achievement and FUN!

Preparatory Piano

Ages 4-13 | Semi-Private Group

• Semi-Private Group Lesson: Up to 4 students in each group

Levels: Beginner (B)-Elementary (I)

You will love this piano program for your child! Our fun-loving approach to musical literacy will excite and encourage your child to explore and learn to play the piano. This class includes singing, creative and structured movement, fun games, instruments, ensemble work, ear-training and guided listening. Reading music begins! Most importantly, this class focuses on developing healthy movement and technique at an early age. Bring your imaginations!

Levels: Mid-Elementary (II)-Late-Elementary (III)

This unique group program was designed to continue piano study in a fun and exciting way! Students will develop musical aptitude through ear training activities, theory, music history, fun games and, of course, piano playing! The basics of proper technique at the piano is emphasized. Basic improvisation and composition activities are also introduced. Students are challenged in a thriving environment of fun and exciting repertoire.

Incentives are integrated into the program to keep students motivated and build confidence in them as they receive recognition for their progress. All PP students also have the opportunity to participate in year-round events, including recitals, festivals and competitions. Our specialized method lays the groundwork for success in private piano study.

• Prerequisite: Student must be playing late elementary-intermediate level music as well as be proficient in note and rhythm reading.

Private Piano Lessons (Adult)

18 & Up | Beginner-Advanced

It’s NEVER too late to start learning or resuming piano lessons! Whether a beginner or advanced, you will enjoy lessons in a positive, relaxing environment where you can learn pieces at your pace. TMS offers 30, 45 or 60 minute lessons to fit your schedule. Performance events are optional but available to interested adults.
