We are partnering with the Parker Rec Center to offer introductory guitar classes for ages 5-18. These classes are set up as four week workshops to introduce your child to guitar in a fun, easy-going environment.

• First session begins January 5, 2010.
• No registration fee!
• Student must bring a guitar to each class. Acoustic and electric guitars welcome.

BEGINNING GUITAR ROCK STAR I
Ages 5-7, 8-10
Is your child an aspiring rock star? If so, your child will love this 4 week workshop! Students will learn the fundamentals of music through fun and games, proper techniques, and introductory skills needed to begin rocking out on the guitar.

ULTIMATE GUITAR HERO I
Ages 11-18
Your child won’t want to miss this class! Ultimate Guitar Hero builds upon GH skills and helps students transition into becoming a real life guitar hero. In this class, students will learn the basics of guitar, proper technique, and rhythm, as well as simple chord progressions used to play a popular song. (No guitar hero experience necessary.)
